1. Click on Account then select Privacy Settings in the top right corner of your Facebook page

2. Look for the Block Lists tab at the bottom of the page, then click the Edit your lists link

3. Type in the name or email of the person you’d like to block, then click Block This User button
Note: Facebook will warn you that once you block someone, that person can no longer be your friend on Facebook or interact with you (except within applications and games you both use).

4. A list of people with the same name will appear. Click on the person you wish to block

Now you will see a small line appears with the person’s name and a Unblock link. The blocked person will not be able to see your profile. When you are searched for by this person, your name and details won’t show up in their search results.
