How to Create and Add an Avatar or Gravatar in Blog Comments

Have you created your own comments avatar or Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatar) that will appear beside your name when you comment on website or blog? Simply go to Gravatar.com and create one for free. It’s so easy and here is the step by step tutorial.

1. Go to Gravatar.com and click on Get your Gravatar today button

2. Enter your email address and click Signup button. You will receive an email from Gravatar with confirmation link

3. Click the confirmation link to activate the account and you will be brought back to the site to setup your username and password

4. Upload your image
(Note: You can upload any size image file. Gravatar will automatically resize large images so you may upload the best quality version you have.)

5. Crop your image then click Crop and Finish! button

6. Choose a rating for your Gravatar and that’s it!

Your avatar image is now directly connected to your email address. Everytime you leave a comment on blog with this email address, your avatar will automatically be added.
